Sea World

Hi bloggers!

I am posting very interesting theme this time. Its about under water world i.e. Marine world. Its a huge topic in which we can make many things. I have tried my best to give each and every detail of under water corals, shells and fishes.

I have started by making handmade shadowbox. I have colored it with blue acrylic color. On the base I colored some sandy look and earth under water. Here in below picture I have created cute little octopus, big one and little one. And also one fish.

here some corals which are made using peach and maroon 3mm quilling strips with some grass.

These are cute three gold fishes with black strips.

Here are the group of some tiny blue fishes moving here and there

I created Corals with flesh tint color strip and purple strip. Also some shells with pearl in side it. One Red Star Fish. Some watery Stones in circular shape using black and off white strips. some shells at the bottom.

Here also some corals with Orange , Yellow strips. And some grass off course. I pasted some fringe flowers between grass at right side. Again some shells with pearl.

Fairy Happy

Hi friends!! Today I am posting a card with loads of techniques. After fantastic Ganpati celebration in Pune now I am back in world of blogging!

This is the card in which I created background using honeycomb stencil with light pink color ink. I distressed edges with my scissors.

Then for side strip I created stripe pattern using masking tape and orange ink. After that I created circle shape on which I stamped fairy. Circle is created using peek-a-boo designs scallop circle die and as I didn't want scallop edge I trimmed it off by scissors. For the fairy I used Itsy Bitsy Fairy stamp set with black ink.

Before pasting circle on card I used leaf punch for pink leaves. For sentiments I used Itsy Bitsy alphabet stamp set. I also attached orange- white bakers twine on the bottom of card. Then at the end I glued little orange and peach sequins. For the base of card I took Orange card stock.

Hope all of you will like my effort. Please comment.

Quilled Indian Musical Instruments

Hi Bloggers! I am very much excited to post my new collection of Musical instruments. I created some miniatures of Indian Musical Instruments using 5mm quilling strips.. It was very big project for me.. as it took around 7 days to make all instuments.. For whole project I used approx 500 quilling strips.

I started with Harmonium. First I created one box for base. Then I made back side accordion and front black and white keys.  Then I painted harmonium with brown color and orange color on base.. for front stops i used quilling strip. Harmonium measures 4'' x 3''.

This is Sitar.. I created lots of quilled circles of different sizes for front and back portions.. Some of them are 3d in shape and some circles are flat. For string area i used card board strips. and strings are made with silver thread. Sitar Size is approx 7'' x 2''.

Then I created Iktara , Been and shehenai.

Now turn of Indian Drums.. First one is Nagada, then Dholak, Tabla, Damroo, and Little Manjira. For sticks of Nagada I used toothpick wrapped with brown paper and little tight coil in orange for top of stick. Also i created cushions for Tabla and Nagada with orange silk thread for base support. Hight is approx 2 1/2'' x 2''.
